UPDATE:  OVI Checkpoint In Springfield Today

An OVI checkpoint will be manned by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officers on Wednesday from 8:30 p.m. until 12 midnight in downtown Springfield along U.S. 40 in front of the new hospital building.  Assisting in the checkpoint will be the Springfield Police Division, Clark County Sheriff Deputies, the Enon Police and medical personnel.  We had previously reported that a second checkpoint was operating in the afternoon in Springfield, but this report was wrong.
