Clark County OVI Checkpoint Tonight (August 26, 2011)

There will be an OVI sobriety checkpoint tonight in Clark County, Springfiield, Ohio beginning at 10 pm and ending at 2 am.  According to the Clark County Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the location of the checkpoint will be at US 40 (National Road) and Rt. 68 in western Springfield.The DUI checkpoint will be conducted by the Clark County OVI Task Force.  The Clark County OVI Task Force  is made up of the Clark County Combined Health District, Springfield Police Division, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Clark County EMA, Springfield Fire and Rescue Box 27, Ohio Investigative...

Dayton OVI Checkpoint Tonight (August 20, 2011)

There will be another OVI checkpoint in Montgomery County tonight.  The checkpoint will be on North Main St. in Dayton near Hillcrest Dr.  The increase d patrols will run through September 5th.  The State Highway Patrol plans to operate 27 sobriety checkpoints throughout the state on Friday through Sunday, said Lt. Anne Ralston, a patrol spokeswoman.  This operation is in conjunction with the national NHTSA-sponsored initiative called “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”  Thanks to another grant from the NHTSA, the patrol expects to operate about 100 checkpoints this year, about double the number run last year. Trotwood OVI Checkpoint Tonight (August 19, 2011)

OVI Checkpoints in Multiple Counties Planned Through Labor Day

Hear ye, hear ye! Ohio's Checkpoint Weekend Has Begun The State Highway Patrol plans to operate 27 sobriety checkpoints throughout the state on Friday through Sunday, said Lt. Anne Ralston, a patrol spokeswoman.  This operation is in conjunction with the national NHTSA-sponsored initiative called "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."  Thanks to another grant from the NHTSA, the patrol expects to operate about 100 checkpoints this year, about double the number run last year. Dayton’s DUI Task Force Announces “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”

Today the Combined Agency OVI Task Force for Montgomery County announced that it will participate in a major law enforcement initiative call "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."  The nationwide effort will operate from August 19 to September 5th and will join forces of over 10,000 law enforcement agencies.  The press release says that over 500 extra patrol hours have been allocated and at least two OVI checkpoints have been scheduled.  Like other campaigns, this effort will be supported by a media blitz in an effort to maximize the deterrent impact.  For more on the campaign visit the High Visibility...

Darke County OVI Checkpoint Tonight (July 16, 2011)

Montgomery County DUI checkpoint (5/27/11)

The German Township Police Department in Montgomery County, along with other jurisdictions, will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday on State Route 725 and other selected roads in German Township.
