And while that was sure to raise a few eyebrows, the company decided to go a step further and place the limited edition of 12 bottles inside the taxidermied bodies of squirrels, stoats and a hare. The bottles—which cost more than $700 each—sold out in less than four (4) hours, although the controversy they are raising is sure to last as long as the preserved bodies of the beer-cozies. Dayton OVI Sobriety Checkpoint Update: July 17, 2010

I have checked with all of our regular sources and there appears to be no sobriety checkpoints scheduled tonight in the Miami Valley. There will be two checkpoints tonight in Cincinnati. The first will be from 9-11 pm, on North Bend Road. The second OVI checkpoint will be from midnight until 2 am on Colerain near Blue Spruce. The Clermont County checkpoint will be on Rt. 52 near mile marker 7 (in Neville) from 4-8pm. Dayton OVI Checkpoint Tonight! (July 3rd on Rt. 48)

ABC/FOX 22 and WHIO News are reporting that the Montgomery County Sheriff, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Montgomery County OVI Task Force will be back at the Harrison Township/Rt. 48 location again tonight. Saturation patrols will continue throughout this weekend and multiple OVI checkpoints are scheduled in this part of Ohio. WHIO reports that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio State Patrol and the Montgomery County Combined Agency OVI Task Force will conduct an OVI/Sobriety checkpoint tonight, but neither WHIO or the Sheriff's Office know of the location as of the filing of this update (stay tuned for details). Did you hear about last night's (July 2nd) sobriety checkpoint in Montgomery County (Harrison Township on St. Rt. 48). Was it publicized in the Dayton Daily News or on WHIO news as required by law? Despite questionable notification, the checkpoint resulted in over 100 citations being issued. Does that mean that there was a major drunk driving problem deterred by this checkpoint?
