Springfield OVI Checkpoint Tonight at 10:15

We have confirmation that a sobriety checkpoint will take place in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio tonight beginning at approximately 10:00pm.  The news release does not specify a location for the checkpoint as of the writing of this update.  We are still tracking other jurisdictions.  WLW News reports that there will be increased patrols due to the holiday weekend.  Stepped-up patrols are expected throughout Ohio.Please drive safely this holiday weekend and watch out for kids who are trick or treating.  It is always smart to designate a sober driver.  If you need an attorney, contact Springfield DUI attorney Charles M. Fairborn Municipal Court and the T.I.P. Program

People charged with Driving Under Suspension (DUS) or Failure to Reinstate in the Fairborn Municipal Court can take advantage of a new program designed to divert cases from the court's docket and help violators obtain a valid license.  Under the Traffic Intervention Program (TIP), an officer of the court helps people understand what is needed to clear up license problems.  If a defendant becomes valid within 120 days of arraignment,  presents proper insurance and does not have any new driving violations, the charge of driving under suspension or failure to reinstate (both first degree misdemeanors) will be amended to the...

Information on DUI Cases in Oakwood

Oakwood, Ohio is served by the Oakwood Municipal Court (click HERE for link to the Court).  The Oakwood Municipal Court hears all misdemeanor cases, arraignments and traffic violations, as well as preliminary hearings on felony cases.
