Clark County DUI Checkpoint Tonight (August 19, 2011)

There will be an OVI sobriety checkpoint tonight in Clark County, Springfiield, Ohio beginning at 7 pm and ending at 11 pm.  According to the Clark County Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the location of the checkpoint will be at Lagunda Rd in Springfield.The DUI checkpoint will be conducted by the Clark County OVI Task Force.  The Clark County OVI Task Force  is made up of the Clark County Combined Health District, Springfield Police Division, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Clark County EMA, Springfield Fire and Rescue Box 27, Ohio Investigative Unit and police departments in North...

Springfield DUI Update: Clark County OVI Checkpoint on March 18, 2011

Springfield DUI Checkpoint Tonight (Feb 11, 2011)

There will be a sobriety checkpoint tonight according to the Clark County OVI Task Force. The checkpoint will begin at 11 p.m. and will be located at state Route 40 and U.S. Route 68 in front of Snyder Park, according to the release. Sobriety checkpoint update (July 3rd)

Saturation patrols will continue throughout this weekend and multiple OVI checkpoints are scheduled in this part of Ohio.  WHIO reports that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio State Patrol and the Montgomery County Combined Agency OVI Task Force will conduct an OVI/Sobriety checkpoint tonight, but neither WHIO or the Sheriff's Office know of the location as of the filing of this update (stay tuned for details).  Clark County (Springfield) Sheriff and Clark County Ohio State Highway Patrol report no OVI checkpoint, but they are putting extra units on the road to detect drunk drivers.  Sources at the Greene County Sheriff...
