Today, the Greene County Bar Association and the Greene County Common Pleas Court sat in special session to remember our fallen colleagues:  Ken Huntingdon, Richard Weade and Marshall Massie.  The service was officiated by J. Andrew Root (immediate past president of the GCBA) and was presided over by the honorable Timothy Campbell and Steven Wolaver.  Arthur Sidell spoke on behalf of his friend and partner Marshall Massie.  Following this moving memorial members of the bar shared stories of Mr. Massie.  Alan Anderson (now a Greene County Commissioner) spoke of his friend and partner Richard Weade and the impact that he and his firm had on the development of many careers in our county.  David Miles spoke on behalf of Ken Huntingdon reminding us all to be professional and to relish the opportunities we have to be and make lasting friendships within the bar.  Later this year the Bar will honor three more of our members; the honorable Judson Shattuck, the honorable Raymond Heiber and the beloved Marshall Peterson.
